The kids just were not getting the bike thing using training wheels. I witnessed kids riding--actually balancing--push bikes with seats low and no pedals at the age of two in Mueller State Park one day. So I lowered Olivia and Erik's bicycle seats to the bottom and took the training wheels off. Within two minutes they were bike balanced coasting and withing ten minutes they were pedaling. Throw those training wheels in the bin.
